Welcome to The Friendly Teacher! I am beyond excited that you are here!! My name is Hannah Friend and I teach 3rd grade! I am thrilled that the day has come to launch this blog.

I love teaching more than anything in the world. I love the way the kids are excited to learn more about the world, the way they love you no matter what happens, and the way they love to joke and have fun every minute of the day. I am excited to share with you all the funny, crazy, and content filled time in my classroom.

One thing I believe whole heartily is that the classroom always needs to be FUN, like the kind of fun that you want to have on a Saturday night, the kind of fun that you want to keep returning too! It is my mission and goal to share with you how I make that happen in my classroom. One of the main types of fun I believe in is reading & writing FUN! I believe that you HAVE to make reading & writing as fun as possible, we have way to many kids out there who don't enjoy reading!  I also want to share with you my passion for educational technology! It is my mission to show you how to implement technology and how to make it fun and purposeful for your children. I am beyond grateful and excited that you are here to join me on this journey!
